Just purchased the four copper items shown in the photo and wonder if any viewers might be able to identify. The auction described simply as "African vessels" - they are very heavy - the largest measures about 21" long, the smallest 1" long. The auction house really didn't have more information though one member of the staff said someone speculated they are chamber pots. That seems unlikely based on form. I bought with the intention of using one or two of the larger as birdbaths but am nonetheless curious. They are obviously hand crafted and have a nice patina. I just used the photo from the auction but could add a photo if that would be helpful. Also could not find a good category so used the next best.

Very interesting objects! 3 of them look like they are meant to pour out their contents.
The elongated shape and ability to pour makes me wonder if they had to do with the practice of blood-letting? I have no idea if that was an African practice.
