This was a thrift shop find from several years ago. This thrift shop would purchase entire estates, so you could see everything the deceased had. As I recall, this came from the estate of a lady who had a lot of Danish Modern pieces, so this was a bit out of character for her. It is 3.5" tall and 3" square. All of the pieces in the construction are glass, so a lot of effort went into making it. It is signed, but I was never able to make out the signature. No idea of the age, origins or maker.
Amazing piece, I can't believe it's that small. Not a perfume bottle collector, there is a whole lot of information about that category too. Hope someone else can help. :-)
Thanks for the comment truthordare! Hard to believe that it survived its travels.
Thanks for loving my perfume bottle!

that would be Karl Palda, an old company in Northern Bohemia, which also had much Art Deco glass perfume goods. Sure you can google and see for yourself. :-)
Thanks for loving my perfume bottle, MALKEY!
looks very unique....
Thanks MyCountry! I've thought it might be a one of a kind!
I have a similar one, same signature etc. It is contemporary. I received mine as a gift from my parents after a ski trip to Colorado in the late 80's or early 90's. I was just Dustin g mine and hoping to find out more but at least I have added to the information you have.
Thanks, dckmbell! It certainly helps to date it! Might even zero in on the locale of the maker.
Is there a way to submit a photo or two here instead of a new posting ad I too would love to know more about mine and hich is apparently part of the same series.
There is not a way to submit a photo, as far as I am aware without creating a new posting. What you can do, is to create a new post and include a link to this post in it.
Ha ha yes VERY art deco! Love it.
Thanks Watchsearcher and Elisabethan!
