Found at a Flea Market for $40. Not sure if it's authentic, but it sure does seem to be. Would appreciate any information. Thanks !

It looks nice and old. It is a percussion pistol and not a flintlock pistol. A percusiion cap goes on the nipple. Looks like it could have been middle eastern.

Fort, pegged it as percussion & Mid-Eastern. I've collected antique guns for about 63 yrs. but still a amateur. Mid-East stuff has never interested me, but I see some interestings things here. Barrel tangs usually cracked from firing and it does appear old. No markings ? If the barrel band is easy to remove, you might want to turn it where the longer projection in under the barrel & stock, where it should be. The ramrod guide under the barrel is far from correct, even for a tourist piece. Of course, that could mean it is for use & not to peddle to tourists.

Thanks for the feedback! We were not sure if it was a replica or not, but it really seems to be the real thing. Not sure if you can see on the pic, there is what appears to be a sprig of wheat or some 3 prong item on the ornamental diamond pieces on top of the gun. Thanks again.
