Hello truth friends Collectors Community,-18-08-2018----11:00 PM-Ontario, Canada.
This is the last vase found this week at my local thrift shop, very nice condition Ruffled Tango Art Glass vase with applied clear ragaree, the rim and the decoration applied around as no damage, quite exceptional that happen, they most likely damage or missing piece.
Many maker as created something similar, again the origin is unknown to me.
Any ideal, feel free to comment.
This vase stand at 9 inches tall, by 2 inches wide.
Many thanks for looking.
Sorry to say that this is not Tango glass, although the orange colour is reminiscent of it. This piece was made in China in the 1970s. I often see these listed as Victorian art glass. The article below has some more information.

I agree with IronLace. The vases in different colours are quite popular here and often mistakenly taken for victorian
Production of these continued for many years (still probably made today).
These were a mainstay in US antique malls in the 1980s- 90s.
They were retailed in the US through several antique reproduction companies
who put out large mail order catalogs. The catalogs included glass, lamps, cast iron-- all sorts of popular collector items.
The catalogs were a great help in identifying repros. Not sure where I put the copies that I had!
