In 1966, over the Labor Day weekend, Jerry Lewis started his MDA Telethon and he ran it every Labor Day weekend through 2010.
This is a 17 Jewel, Helbros, watch, that Jerry Lewis gave to his workers on the telethon in 1971.
His dedication and efforts raised over $2.45 Billion dollars, from 1966 through 2009 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
It's my prayer that a cure could be found for all diseases,

Nice personality watch, good caricature of Jerry Lewis. He was such a fixture over the Labor Day weekend, he is always missed. I too fervently hope there will one day be a cure for MD and other childhood diseases, my little brother was 7 when he succumbed to leukemia
Thank you for posting this Jerry should be Sainted. This must be a rare model.
