This Arts and Crafts hammered copper Flower Basket, I found on my way out of the Flea Market on Saturday 9/1/18. A woman had just finished putting her things out, when I was walking past to leave the Flea for the day, and I noticed this Copper Basket in the center of her spot. The Basket had a few things in it, so I asked if it was for sale, and she said yes, so I took the things out, and set them on the tarp, where the Basket was sitting, so I could look at it closer. It had some green tarnish on it, but otherwise in good shape, with a nice Chestnut Brown patina. I asked how much, and she said "Everything on the left side, is $2. and on the right is $5. just to keep things easy." So I said, "This is $2.?" and she repeated herself, so I gave her the $2. and thanked her, and left with a smile! :^D The Copper Basket is 9"long, 4"wide, by 6 1/4" to the top of the handle, and sits flat, with no movement. The handle is riveted with 3 copper rivets to each side of the Basket. It is very well made, but unmarked. After I got home, I cleaned over the green tarnish, on the inside, the bottom, and at the connection of the handle, to basket points, with 0000 steel wool, rubbed it with a cloth with vinegar, to remove the rest of the green, dried it, then polished it with beeswax. I was able to save it without removing the patina.
The Helmeted Lady with Torch, Trophy, on plastic base, I purchased earlier in the morning, when I saw it, I had to get it, I just loved the look of Her. An Art Nuevo design, but not sure when it was made. It's a copper plated metal, not magnetic, on plated steel base, that's connected to the plastic base with a screw, and nut, and there is a hole on each side of the lady, where something else had been mounted, to the plastic top. The copper presentation plate on the front is not engraved. The Lady on the 3" metal base is 11" tall, and plastic base is another 4 1/4", its 9"wide and 6 7/8"deep. There a plate washer, inside the plastic base that reads PRESIDENTIAL CO. INGLEWOOD, CALIF. A search for the Company found nothing.
The Art Deco Black glazed pottery Bookends, I found a few weeks ago at the Flea Market, again I really liked the look of these, but was not able to find any information on these unmarked pieces. The Book that they're holding is Audels Handy Book of Practical Electricity copyrighted, 1924, 1937 by Theo. Audel & CO. New York 1939 Impression

Thank you for looking, all comments welcome, and questions, I will try to answer! :^)

The trophy is my fave and is Art Deco, her hair has an added wreath that a lot of trophys had in their hair. I have never seen this one before and seems very special !~

I guess more like a helmet cap with wreath than hair.
