I found this trunk at an estate sale. It measures 45x15x13 and is in excellent condition. The makers mark inside says E. Moyle, Savannah, GA. Savannah Trunk factory traveling bags and Leather goods. It has detailed compartments inside and the length is something I have not come across before.

Hi Mike, Pondering this piece, one could, with a higher probability than just a steamer trunk, consider this to be a gun trunk. Can't prove it, but certainly food for thought looking at the interior make up and layout.
