A new find in my new home town...a cute little Welz vase, nestled among the grape hyacinths.
In the honeycomb spatter pattern, it is composed of three layers of cased glass, with a clear, applied footed base.
The vase measures 12 cm tall, 7 cm across the top rim, & 8 cm across the base
Amazing garden find! Seriously, I love this decor.

Many thanks, scottvez! Yes, I am a fan of this decor too, I have a miniature jug & basin set purchased in the UK 15 years ago that will match this perfectly once they are unpacked!
Thanks also, Mrstyndall!
Thank you most kindly, MALKEY!
My new garden is making me so happy...& once all of my collection is here I will be happier still...
Great find. Love this piece!!
I'd like the Welz pieces to grow in my garden too :-))
Absolutely LOVE the first photo... and a lovely piece of glass too.
Very avant garde looking for 19th century glassware.
Thanks so much, welzebub!
It's a lovely dream, isn't it Ivonne? :-)
Many thanks, Anik! I am so inspired by my new surroundings...after a challenging time, it's wonderful to get a chance to start again...
I agree, Bambus1920...Victorian glass can show such wonderful creative energy...it was clearly a time of both great technical innovation & artistic exuberance.
So glad you're enjoying it all, nutsabotas6!
Exquisite, everything!
