Antique German Doll - Adolf Wislizenus - 1851-1931

I am visiting my sister, who looks after the family dolls! This is Dorothy Constance, my Auntie Connie’s doll ( she was more like my grandfathers cousin but always Auntie to us). She is showing wear now, with her hair coming off, and the bottom of her feet are missing, but she has a beautiful face, and is marked on the back AW Special, Germany, which is the mark for Adolf Wislizenus of Germany. I am not sure her date, but A Connie was born at the beginning of the 20th century, so the doll could date from then. We don’t have her original clothes.
