Here we have a 2011 Walmart Transportation Safety Award in the form of a clock mounted on a wood and brass platform under a heavy glass case which rests on the wooden base. The entire unit is 8 inches tall , 6 3/4 inches wide and 3 ½ inches deep. The clock is signed Howard Miller on front but marked made in China on back. I have never seen any Walmart employee awards other than the long service pins. Has anyone here seen one of these before?
Think I'd rather have a video of Walmart shoppers. Luckily, we don't have Walmarts here. Might be worth it for the entertainment though. LOL !!
I've seen some of the stills; don't think I could stomach a video.
They shouldn't have been so cheap in recognizing safety records of employees. Maybe if they did, they wouldn't have had to pay out multi-million dollar settlements to victims of traffic accidents. Instead, they pay less than living wages and taxpayers pick up the rest of the tab in the form of food subsides for some of their full-time employees. There are two of their "super stores" in our little town of 15,000. Plus there's a Sam's Club. I try to shop at Target as much as possible but I must admit, I go there sometimes.
Back on topic, I didn't know Howard Miller slapped their name on Chinese goods. Why am I not surprised?
Here 'ya go BB2:

I live in their 'home state'. I shop at Target or Kroger. ;-) :-)
