One of the 5 die cast 1;64 cars I picked up at the Ontario car show. This one is a Johnny Lightning MiJo exclusive and Johnny Lightning gets really confusing. The original Johnny Lightning was made from 1969-1971. The quality was not as good as Hot Wheels or Matchbox. In 1994 it makes a comeback made by Playing Mantis from 1994-12004. The quality was actually very high. This model is from 2003 originally. Jonny Lightning goes through some other owners until in 2016 Round 2 takes over which is actually the owner of Playing Mantis. This has a really small print sticker on the underside as this is apparently a 2018 release by a company that never owned Johnny Lightning. Perhaps it is a recent purchase or licensed release. Told you this is confusing.
But forget all that as this is a really cool model, check out the tail lights in photo #2. That and the detailed engine in photo #3. The license plate says "The King". Hmm I wonder who that could be OK I don't really wonder but feel free to comment anyway.
