A bit GM heavy but at least there is only one Chevrolet and about 2/3rds of the cars were Chevrolets.
Starting off is our Chevrolet truck. My quick guess is 1962 feel free to correct me.
#2 a 1953 Oldsmobile or somewhere around there.
#3 is a 1958 Cadillac El Dorado similar to my pink model although I think that one is a 59.
Wrapping it up with a classic Thunderbird convertible. I will guess 1962 and won't look it up because I am lazy.
Got another car show tomorrow and will only take photos of something completely different or somewhat different.
Fantastic cars & your pix are primo, love that yellow Olds & very sharp El Dorado, back when Caddys were "block long"
Beautiful rides. Not only were the classic Caddie's long, they weighed nearly 5000 lbs. The child in front of the T-bird cracks me up getting a close up, I would have done the same at his age.
I love the tray of food on the window of the Thunderbird! That brings back a flood of memories of going to the Krystal (little square hamburgers like White Castle) with my father!
He placed our order from a speaker located along side each parking space. Within a few minutes our food arrived--hamburgers wrapped in waxed paper, all in a red plastic shallow "basket-like"dish.
A waitress brought everything on a silver metal tray that clamped to the window, just like in your photo! The food was fresh and hot, delicious!!
The waitress collected the money when she brought the tray (always cash back then). When you finished eating, you put all the trash on the tray along with a tip and called on the speaker to have the tray picked up. Those were the days!!
And I don't know why but when we were referring to Krystal, we always said The Krystal......odd, but I still do that. I wonder if others say that?
Very nice looking toy ..nice pic's....
Thank you very much Newfld. The secret is the right lighting.
Thank you very much Toyrebel. Got another caddy coming up that is even heavier.
Thank you very much nutsabotas6. Yes that is a good color and great paint.
Thank you very much Watchsearcher. I remember going to places like that in San Bernardino. I think it was an A&W. Had the car tray. After that is was all McDonalds.
