Hi, let me introduce this pretty tie clip I bought when I visited the flea market last time - it was in the lot of 6 interesting brooches.
Very pretty but a mystery to me. As you can see the tie clip shows some wear - it was once silvered and gold-plated. The clip is marked SPQR - do you know such a company? Can you tell me how old this might be?
Thank you in advance for your opinions!
Thank you nutsabotas6!

Judging from the shoes alone she is NOT art nouveau at all. She is more deco or art moderne 1940's.
Its a beautiful pin !
Roycroftbooksfromme1, thank you! This is not roman design, though, so I guess SPQR is name of the maker.
Thank you PhilDMorris! I thought about shoes, too.
Gorgeous antique design, the reclining lady pose must have been quite daring for a gentleman's tie clip back in the day
Newfld - thank you! I agree. It would be quite daring today as well. Maybe it wasnt meant for gentlemen back then? :DDD
Beautiful! I so want one!
Thank you Tigra for your love!
