    These hatpins were purchased in VA with no history provided. Does anyone know any information about them? They are not your typical skirted, faceted glass high end hatpins.

      I feel the same way. They are unique, very well made, but most hatpins shown are glitzy ones.....?

      They are really wonderful. So unusual. I agree they are probably handmade, and look like woven raffia or ribbon. So clever! Either someone wanted different, just liked doing them, or maybe couldn't afford pre made ones. Whatever, they are really fantastic!
