Hi everyone, came across this beautiful jar/vase.
Pretty clear signed, but was not able to find any info on the artist.
Would appreciate your help ( year, region, style...).
Thank you in advance.

beautiful piece. that glaze looks identical to Monterey Jade, from Carmel, CA.
I think these are craft items made in some community ceramics shop.
Back in the 80s, making ceramics was a very popular hobby, including for myself and my sisters and my mom.
Ceramics shops had instructors on staff and everything needed to make any number of object. That big jar with lid was very popular because it could be easily made into a lamp or made into a container with lid.
That green splotchy glaze was very popular. I have many pieces of ceramics done by my mother--she did beautiful work and owned her own ceramic shop.
It was a popular hobby for about a decade then fizzled out. Most or all ceramic shops closed and their very expensive inventory of very expensive molds, glazes, stains, tools and kilns became almost worthless.
I remember the shops in my city from the 80's, we had a whiteware shop and a greenware shop, The whiteware shop had some massive busts and other items which made the shop so amazing to enter. Lessons were given and I liked to buy their pedestals and wall brackets. The whole time was wonderful.
Thanks everyone for the info !
