My wife got this poster from an online auction for pennies! She didn’t tell me about it, but when she showed it to me, I knew I had to frame and hang it! 1930s original Pres-to-logs advertising piece. You can tell simply by the clothes being worn that it’s from the 30s! Main thing that gives it away is the length of the woman’s skirt,,,1930s! They were much shorter by the 40s.

I love it that the woman is wearing high heeled shoes and the man is wearing a tie while cooking over a camp fire.

Yeah, crazy back then. Camping means dressing up, I guess it did back then! Thanks everyone!!

Hi There! I stumbled upon your photo in a search for old advertisements for Pres-to-logs. I am working on a write up on the history of the brand. Would you be willing to take/share a high-res photo that I can use?
