Sherman Red Siam Japanned Bracelet Set, with cats head
shaped brooch and earrings. The oversize bracelet is over 1/4
inches from other normal bracelets. The alternating position
of the red navettes make this a rare bracelet. as they come up
for sale very seldom. This is the first one that I have seen in 5
or 6 years. Aquired October 16, 2018. There are almost as many
as half of the stones are borealis coated which seems to disappear when viewed in strong light. Breathtaking.
The Jappaned Siam colour delivers maximum impact and it is of
no surprise that they are among the most popular for Sherman
collectors. Sherman is well known for the dramatic Siam red
stones in Japanned metal. The range of red stones is also
spectacular including the range of light and dark Siam,
aurora borealis and uncoated, set in Rhodium, goldtone, and
Japanned metals. ....H

This bracelet just sings! I love Sherman pieces that feature this intense ruby red against the dark japanning. And those needle-slender navettes are very elegant. Lovely.
