I'm having trouble identifying the mark. It says "Stone Porcelaine", so the 'e' suggests that it's French, but I'm not finding much for it or the stag's head mark. Or maybe it's supposed to be an elk's head, not a deer's. I doe-know (you get it, doe, don't, deer? ;P Yeah, yeah, it's a BAD pun, I know.)
Thrift-store find. No pitcher.
Does anyone know the maker and era?
It might well be of American manufacture. There’s an advert for Stone Porcelaine here from 1879.

Hope it helps.
Alton Illinois ???
The mark suggests this was made for use in an Elks Club lodge (BPOE = Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks). Many companies made Elks Club china. Likely dates from late 1800s to early 1900s.
PS - American.
Vetraio, interesting. Thank you.
Artfoot, I wasn't sure if those were words in his antlers or not. Thank you.
:)
