This is a wonderful Kralik vase in a décor I'm referring to as 'Myra' after WMF pieces that look similar and of course to Steuben pieces. However both Steuben and WMF Myra pieces have more in common with each other than this piece which is achingly elegant.
The glass is extremely thin and the gold is applied to the outside only. The surface texture is extremely fine and gives this décor the look of solid gold. I have previously posted an example of this décor in an earlier post : https://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/238491-kralik-gold-iridescent-glass-vase--a-ne

Pic 3 shows the two side by side. Interestingly the tall piece has a blue glass foot and the shorter one a purple foot.

These are so regal. I recall the original posting and just reread it. So, is this now considered a confirmed Kralik decor? And was it resolved whether the label on taller piece is indicative of early or later production? They are quite mesmerising.

Hi Wow. Really no absolute confirmation yet, however Jericho believes these are indeed Kralik. This décor is seen more commonly on shallow candy dishes, often with a blue glass knob which are generally sold as and believed to be Kralik. No clarity in respect of the label though. Although I personally suspect these are post war.

I think I need the candy dish to make up a set!

Thanks for response. You definitely need the candy dish!
