Apparently these were called “naughties” and such. I love it. So I get that it is an ashtray but I wonder if she should be holding some matches? This naughty girl will not tell me. She is marked on the bottom (no pun intended)..

This qualifies as a "nodder". The hole in the chest area once held a small ceramic fan.
