I found this at a second hand store back off in the corner behind a bunch of stuff I paid $200 for it after I got it home I realized it has a date of May 8th 1916 on the back it is tongue-and-groove Construction it has dovetail drawers that appear to be hand-cut not machined so I'm guessing that the piece was handmade the Finish was amazing and the Lack significant Nick's and dings had me somewhat suspicious but after checking other areas it leads me to believe it stayed at the same residence for a very long time and was probably used by adults and not children I did check the drawer "slides "underneath the drawers for wear there is a significant Groove under all the drawers so I do believe it to be authentic the only Hardware I found on it besides the drawer pulls of course were set nails to hold the tongue and groove pieces into place and flat head screws to hold the mirror to the back and three screws holding the top to the base but all the other construction is tongue and groove. The mirror Has a few silver nic's but it appears to be a
the original one . the wheels are wooden not porcelain It does have thick tiger oak veneer on the top two drawers the drawer handles seem to be original looks like they're made of tin with copper handles I did some cleaning on it problem with me is I purchase something I don't try to sell it so it is not for sale.
