Found these in a box from an Estate sale from earlier this year, just getting around at looking at these. Trying to date them. They would not be candle holders because of the rubber around the opening, So I'm Guessing Christmas light glass globes???? What do you think. ??? How old do you think the Wooden birds are??? Thanks for looking !!

You are correct in assuming that they are light covers. they push over the small lights common on strings today. I have several sets of these that I purchased new almost 40 years ago.
