This is a green glaze vase which stands 8 1/4 inches high and has a 5 inch opening at top. It has handles and some type of wild grass image on both sides of vase. At the base it’s stamped 69, no other marks. When I bought it I thought this image looks familiar, unfortunately so far my research has not found its maker. Any help to identify this vase would be great. Thanks for looking.
just love the bulrush embossed in the moulding

They are cattail reeds.
Supposedly made by McCoy from the images that pop up on Google Images...
Another image says by Cameron Clay Products....

both of the links near the bottom of the article are inactive....
There are a few posts on Cameron Clay Products on CW, but not much more information out there except for some articles on the burning of the factory. Looks like someone tried to generate some interest in this maker a few years ago, but it fizzled out. They made some really striking pottery, though.

Morning Malkey and kwqd, thanks for the kind and informative words. Kwqd you hit a home run with identifying this vase as a Cameron clay pottery with cattail reeds. I found numerous examples of this vase in different colors by them. Mark another item down as Not a Mystery. Onto our next adventure in the world of pottery. Thanks again.
