This was one of my Flea Market finds on Saturday 11/3/18, it's a Vintage Roseville Pottery Futura Line Vase #404-8. This Roseville Pottery Vase, that's also known as the "Balloons Globe Vase", was made in 1928, and still has a look that is desired by many people today, one of the reasons that it's kept it's value, where other Roseville Pottery lines have dropped in value over the past decade. The 8 3/4"h Vase, with a small 2 1/4" funnel shape, to a 1" opening on top of a 5 3/8"dia. ball, or globe connected by 4 legs, to a sloped trapezoid shaped base. It's a dark blended matte Blue color, with a design on top, of different sized circles, in Pastel colors of Yellow, Green, Blue, and Pink, that dripped into the dark Blue, after Firing, to create a string effect, off the bottom of the circles, that makes them look like Balloons, where the common name for this #404 Vase came from. The bottom of this Vase is unmarked, as a lot of this line is, and probably the reason that the vase was still there.
When I first saw this vase, I knew that I had seen the shape, and glaze before, but wasn't sure what it was, until after I searched, 1st Weller, and found it in my next Roseville Pottery Futura search, it helps to have a little memory left! :^D

Thank you for looking, all comments, and questions welcome! :^)

I love this one Bill, such a great shape. The blue is an interesting shade, and the whole is very art deco. Nice find! Well remembered too :)

Thank you Karen, I think this vase caught my eye, because I had remembered seeing it, or a similar look before. I have a few pieces in the Roseville Futura Line, and might have seen this vase, when searching my other ones, but I'm glad it jogged my memory! &:^D
