SOLID BRASS KEROSENE LAMP WITH DOUBLE WICK. I CAN'T FIND ANY MAKERS MARK. STANDS ABOUT 9 INCHES TALL. I HAVE A FRIEND BRINGING ME A CHIMNEY THIS WEEKEND. JUST LIKED IT ON SIGHT. ANY IDEAS AS TO AGE AND MAKER?
Usually when that much wick was needed, 2 were used in a circular wick feed.
This is a part to a full size lamp . I have the actual lamp but some say its from the 70's but i know its older because my mom collected them and most was electric in the 70's to look like the old oil burning ones ...
Good job rescuing this piece ... it is a valuable piece ... been nice if you had the Crystals and globe along with a shade to the lamp . Cool thing about that piece you have is , it can be used without the lamp ????
here ya go....
