Quick note. The C in MB25-C denotes it is the 3rd MB25 and is not part of the official model number. Now back to our normal programming.
I posted one of these earlier along with the MB 32 Leyland Petrol Tanker. But that one was missing the seats. Finally found one with the seats and here it is. Now I need the box so I can post it one more time.
The seats are a big feature as they tilt forward to reveal the motor. First the cab tilts forward. Much more exciting than the Leyland tanker which has no moving parts. Plus this has better colors with the classic BP yellow, green and white. I think I will need a photo shoot of all the BP vehicles and the service station. So that will be four times I can post this. Plus a few others I will sneak in.
This model had a short life of 3 years. Its replacement had a windshield. Other wise it was two steps back as it had no interior or tilting cab.
Next week I am thinking BP.
Love BP Matchbox. The second Matchbox I got was a BP wrecker around '64.
Thank you very much Toyrebel. The King Size wrecker perhaps?
