The Standard Oil porcelain boat is standing tall in the collection. I had a bracket made so I can display the Standard Oil glass flame with the porcelain boat. This would have been on the top of a 6’ Standard Oil sign. Since I don’t have room for a 6’ sign this is how I can display the two together without the sign. I’m very happy how this turned out. Just another nice piece of history in my Standard Oil collection.

Great collection enhanced by the red lighting, very nice!
Looks great.
Your place and collection are total HEAVEN here on Earth !!
Man that is really nice and she looks sooo good with all your other unbelievable pieces. Just WOW. Fantastic collection and always enjoy looking at it.
I think the porcelain portion holding the glass flame is called a cauldron but I'm just an old guy who needs to verify everything with my grandkids who seem to know everything. No matter what it's called its a great find and hard to get!
I would love to come to your house!!!
Kingpin61 you or anyone else is always invited to stop by!! I live in Brownsburg, Indiana.

Rattletrap all my friends call it the boat but you may be right. I will do some checking, thank you for the info!

Rattletrap just did some checking and cauldron is a large pot with a lip and handle to cook over a open fire. So I believe they are wrong. :-)
