      This isn't as easily identified as you might think. At 1st glance, I thought, Italian because of the German style pig skin liner. Then I take a stroll thru E. European helmets from WWII thru the 70's etc.. Could be Yugoslavian. Could be Croatian. Serbian ? Lots of helmets in those areas were almost identical style. (How did they know who the enemy was ?!) Only real noticeable diff. from the German liner is, what appears to be brass eyelets where the adjustment string is. "Me not know,mon."
