My first post.. Hi all! I will be slowly documenting my full collection as it grows and changes.
Here is my German Civic Curved Dip police helmet, I believe it was also used by firefighters but I am unsure.
The liner has the numbers 99 and 58 on it in two different spots, the 58 meaning size 58 centimeters.
The inside of the shell on the back has a stamp that appears to read "D.R.F THALE" and a large "A"
After some research I have found that the stamp means it is from the Eisenhüttenwerke company of Thale that carried out prototype design and testing, with Dr. Friedrich Schwerd.
If anyone has any additional information about the value or rarity of this helmet, I would greatly appreciate it.

Great example as it has the emblems. I se rusted out examples selling for $100.
@fortapache Thanks, yeah some sites say the value is about $200-$250 but I would like to see if there are any sold examples for reference. If anyone has any links of previous sold helmets like this it would help me out a lot. I will be posting the rest of my collection soon!
In my observations, the firefighters helmet has an aluminium comb, but I have not found it stated as a positive. As the police came under Himmler's control, they were all SS and increasingly formed into SS combat units toward the end of the war.
