I've seen a 'seed' green ground version of this decor on Loetz .com, but I feel this is a possibly a 'grass' green version.
Extremely difficult to photograph. Semi opaque and has a highly reflective surface similar to Kralik Iris pieces. These pieces are simple and understated, more deco than nouveau. The threading work is applied to the under surface of the lip and pulled down to the upper top edge of the body creating a twig like tunnel effect around the neck. The 'twig' work is an amber ground with applied Silberiris. 11.5cm (5") approx.
Beautiful vase. Congratulations. I have this vase in version Ausführung 113.

Fantastic! Amazing that none of the twigs have been broken in all these years!
Hi Sammy - yeah isn't it. I meant to make a comment about that in the post.
for me? thank you....
I think you captured it beautifully! Another great piece Phil! As always!! :)
The gold iridescence sets off the amber twigs beautifully.
Beautiful example
s and I agree with your assessment about the color. I also have the same example in Ausf 113.
Does the glass application spell out anything? It almost looks like words. Regardless, nice piece!
It says - ICH BIN SCHÖN - I jest, but if it did say anything, that's what it should say!
