Hubley Station Wagon, Boat and Trailer

I seperately pieced together this Hubley #491 Station Wagon, Boat and Trailer set. It was cataloged from '58-'60. The wagon was always red and the trailer yellow. The boat was red/white plastic, but some came with the colors reversed on the hull and deck. It's hard to find the boat loose, when the set isn't boxed. I paid more for the boat than either of the other 2 pieces. It's the only loose one I've seen on Ebay. The set is 16" total length.
The wagon was also available as the #476 Station Wagon also in red or two tone red, gre./cream. However the individual #476 did not have the extended curved bumper with the hole for the trailer hitch. That verifies that this wagon originally came in a 491 set. Some people call it a Studebaker wagon for some unknown reason. Hubley never listed the manufacturer for it like they did on other cars and trucks.. Judging by the outrageous "jet engine nacelles" on the bumper, it looks like a '57 Buick to me. The grill somewhat resembles this model year also. Unless it was a promo, Hubley's for the most part weren't properly proportioned or scaled, they were toys. I'd appreciate any input of identifying any auto it was based on.
Hubley also made a rarer #655 set from '61-'62. It had the same boat/trailer but pulled by '61 Fairlane. Judging by the pictures I've seen of this set, the Fairlane might be the plastic Hubley promo Fairlane because it has a detailed interior. I've never seen a metal Hubley Fairlane and my reference book only lists the promo separately.
The trailer was yellow with rubber wheels. It also came in white with plastic wheels in the #1517('65) set pulled by a blue jeep. You can see one in the background in pics 2 and 4.
Like I said the boat is HTF loose. I've seen a catalog picture of a blue/white one with the jeep set. This was a tough set to piece together separately.
