I was told that this is the only known 6' Vico porcelain sign existing? We have a few smaller ones but have never heard of another big one like this and feel very fortunate to have it in our collection at Lakeside Storage. The Bobs Big Boy statue below it looks like he's presenting it to the public. I just can't get myself to put the hamburger in Bobs hand. Vico was the brand of oil and Pep 88 was the gas produced by Utah's first and oldest refinery; it was the Utah Oil refining Company established in 1908 and later became Utoco before Standard bought the controlling interest and began changing the Brands to American, Standard, Amoco etc. All great signs with great stories behind each one. Come see them all. It's still free.
If only Utah wasn't so far away -- I'd *love* to be able to see your awesome collection 'in person'?!! :-)
Bob is way-cool too for that matter, but you gotta go ahead and put the burger back in his hand -- he just doesn't look right without it...? <lol>

Yep! I'm pretty pleased with the big Vico, but I'm happy about every sign I find. I just love these big old signs and the stories behind them. Thx for the Love it
