I was wondering if anyone could maybe tell me what model doll this is? My Grandmother gave it to me a very long time ago and I just found her again! I would like to get a new dress and possibly get her fixed up a bit for X mas but , all I know is she is an Armand Marseille doll and her body is wood ( I think) The markings on her say Armand Marseille made in Germany 390 n DRGM 246 A8M ( I hope that's right) Anyway, I've looked everywhere and I can't find her and any help would be sooooo great! Thank you!

She is a very common Armand Marsille doll mold 390 . The DGRM only means she is registered the other number refer to size . The 390 mold has what is called a socket head , meaning no attached shoulders, It was meant to go on the fully jointed composition body ( Compo is made from sawdust and glue mixture poured into a mold and cured ), She was made over a long period of time 1900-1930 so her and her sister mold 370 which is a shoulder head doll are often found . How wonderful to have a heirloom from your grandmother .

Here is link to one I talk more about Armand it is the 370 mold but yours would fall in same category however having the jointed body makes yours more desirable since you can pose her :-)
