Fritz Heckert 'Changeant' in Light Green [Otto Thamm design]

Unusually shaped Fritz Heckert 'Changeant' vase designed by Otto Thamm where the bands are actually clear glass, c.1901. Comprised of clear glass with matt green crumb melts it is 13 cm high, 14.5 cm wide at the rim and 7.5 cm wide at the base. The strong iridescence makes it very hard to photograph. An example of the decor can be seen in S. Zelasko's Fritz Heckert book on page 192 (Vase 322). Enjoy.
