This was a wonderful find at the time when I had a large and varied Oriental cloisonne collection, about 12 years ago. I framed it under glass, so preserve it.
The detail is magnificent with the appropriate gilt wire forming various textural, and Asian designs by placing the colored enamel cells. These pieces were made in a long process by hand, by firing repeatedly in a kiln, as you filled the partitions with a flux of ground glass and chemicals, they were made on the surface of a metal vessel, such as a vase, plate or bowl.
This was published as a page from a book of chromolithograph plates, which was done in 1875 Paris, for designs by culture and country, artist is Auguste Racinet. The print was by Painleve, plate number XII. Here is a text from a site with more information about it, and the link:

Last image is the best representation I owned of this type of cloisonne by Japan craftsmen during late 19th century on a big charger.
