I believe this is an adze. Can anyone confirm if this is an adze or some other type of tool. Also, I can’t read all of the letters in the identifying hallmark. Does anyone know who the maker was, place of origin and approximate year(s) of production?
    Thank you.

The curve and rounded cutting edge speak of a hollowing adze as opposed to an adze for straight trimming and shaping a timber.

      It is a cooper's adze.
