Gorgeous, beautiful, detailed gold trim scalloped bowl! Bought at an estate sale where family took over as opposed to a more shall I say knowledgeable co. The sticker read, “Aunt Frieda used to work for the richest lady in Kansas and the woman gave this to her.” Frieda’s estimated age would be at least 160 years old as told from family. I feel so lucky to own this but crave more information. For 1 month I have stayed awake at night until my eyes go blurry! Who was the richest woman? Where is this from, why did she give it her, what did Frieda do for her, etc.....any help would be appreciated! Also from my extensive research, it is very rare to have three symbols to sign the piece. Most have 4-6. I thin the last is “made in” and the first two are village and island.
Anyone?
Thank you very much
