I I Purchased this shingle approximately 40 years ago An Old Dilapidated Barn Sale. The Wood is definitely Very old and warped. Just By Sight you Can Tell Someone Wrote It Free Hand but tried to make it look stenciled. I took this to several Local Antique Dealers and Colletible Stores to try to find out if this was authenticate or a duplicate. None of the Antique, Collectable, Dealers Could Tell Me this was Authenticate but No One Could Tell Me it Wasn't either. The Best I Got was the Wood was definitely from around the Age of the Sign and it did not look like a reproduction.
** The Plaque states:

I Also Do Not Believe I'm Putting This in the right Categories, I have this, and also a plaque with all the guns and descriptions from the 1800's. IF Someone Could Give Me A Heads Up on What Categories~ I should be putting this in I would really appreciate it.
Thank-You
I have my doubts on this being 19th century.
Looks a lot like a decoupage piece from the late 20th century.

scottvez, I appreciate your Comment About This Plaque. What Makes You Believe It Is a decoupage piece from the late 20th Century? And what actually is a Decoupage Piece? thank's
Everything about it screams fake to me.

Agree w/scottvez 100%. Nothing truly old about it but maybe the actual chunk of wood itself, before somebody in the 1970's (?) turned it into their decoupage project. (which was a kinda popular 'do-it-yourself arts and crafts' home decoration thing to do, back then...)

Yep, Seen these before, they are repros from late 60's-70's. Man Cave stuff back then! lol. I live in St Joseph Mo and We still sell them here at local Museum and Antique Malls. People do the same thing now, paste to old board and resale at Antique Mall. Still Kewl!
To: Scottvez, AnythingObscure, Dizzydave,
I appreciate the information on the Neck-Tie Party Plaque. I doubted It was Original Also but I could Never Get Any Clarification. Mystery Solved!
I AM POSTING ANOTHER PLAQUE AND SOME KIND OF TOOL THAT I CAN'T FIGURE OUT WHAT IT IS OR DOES. IF YOU HAVE ANY KNOWLEDGE ON EITHER OF THESE PLEASE RESPOND.
