    This is a stunning embroidered sampler from what I was told by a reputable source that it is from the early 19th century. It is embroidered silk on top of canvas and it has an open back, so you can see all the painstaking work that it took to complete. My source told me it's likely from England as well. Would love any other info on this.

      A beautiful piece off embroidery.

      To be honest, the trees and the faces give me an Asian feel.
