This is a beautiful large vase, in that rare Tango lavender opaque color with a black rim and a multi colored flower garland across the upper body. It reminds me of Harrach and Loetz, the lavender glass they produced about this time period. The Hosch catalog page was identified in the Volume I Truitt book as 1918 or later.

This was also shown on a poster the Novy Bor Glass Museum published for Hosch in the Tango Sklo Exhibits of 2012.

My idea is that this vase was a blank which was decorated in the Hosch facilities, as many other glass pieces were. Loetz happens to also have several of their pieces in the same catalog pages.

I often wonder if there were different quality grades to these pieces of glass. We rarely hear or read about that, but we do see some economical pieces which were made for various use such as souvenirs for the traveller. We also know that many of the bigger glass production facilities provided blanks to other companies for their decorators or finishers to work on. Myers Neffe is recognized as doing so, according to the Truitts.
