17e western electric phone being restored now. We sure have come a long way in 118 years. Mechanics special. Truely a one of a kind. Thank goodness we don’t have to lug these boxes around in our pocket!

I was thinking intercom. It's been announced, that the smart-phone has now replaced the penis as the most popular hand-held device. (Feel free to delete) LOL!!!

I have one of these, they are from the early 1900's. They were used by linemen's to troubleshoot telegraph and telephones lines especially along railroad lines. The one I have is also green this was the military version WWI circa, it also came in a green canvas bag.
