Very Rare ca. 1926-7 USA Passport Territory of Hawaii! Document used to travel to China/HongKong via Japan. On front are two blind stamps for Territory of Hawaii. Issued in July 1926 to Eva Gail Burger Age 29 signed by the Acting Governor of Hawaii and cancelled in 1932 by J.B. Sawyer a Vice Consul of the USA. Nice Japanese transit Visa issued in Honolulu at the Embassy. Nice Blind stamp added to the Chinese Visa also issued in Honolulu. Quality document.
Hey, I'm a passport collector and have longer thought such a passport must exist. There are rare but other examples from Puerto Rico and the Philippines. I had been on the lookout for examples from Hawaii and Alaska. Where in the world did you find this?
Yes OKM - this is a rare item - have not seen one for ale in over 10 years, direct purchase on Ebay. I also have a Panama consular issue from 1917 as well as a 1921 Commonwealth of Philippines USA - like a Puerto Rico and Hawaii , one which I do not own. Alaska? I'm sure it exists - but in a USA passport -> pre-1959 would list Alaska as a Territory, also rare.
DocNoc, please let me know if you ever want to part. Regards.
