Here is a bench/wall table with vertical rustic wood planks. I don't know the maker and I'm wondering if this is actually an older bench or a new bench made to look old. It has a nice patina on the metal legs and the wood planks look very weathered. I took a closeup of the bolts used to secure the base piece of wood. Thanks for looking and please feel free to add any insight.
Thanks so much.
What are the overall dimensions? Can you flip it over so we can see underneath it?
Are the planks on top stapled, glued or other? Do the 2 hex head bolts on each corner go thru or are they just decoration? Until i see your answers, my first impression is you have a light to medium duty bench, with scrap wood planks for a top. The frame kinda looks like it was made from an old bed frame, but still well constructed.
Thanks! I'll check when I get home tonight and answer your questions and add the pic of the bottom of it. Appreciate the help.
It looks to me like it was made from the frame of a six foot commercial grade folding table modified to be a workbench. Most common one would have been 30"X72".
Seems the bolts are decorative. The legs are screwed in from the bottom and you can see space where the bolt would go into the wood. The size is about 31” wide by 12” deep by 19” tall. Smaller than what some of you thought. May just be a recent bench. Still cool though.
