    Hello Everyone.
Here i have one of my new acquisition, i say one because i have 3 more to go, all to be add in my Heckert collection(accepted this one), quite happy with that, this one was in the mail for quite some time, due to the Canada post Lock out, even one of them state Delivery at one time, i don't have to tell you how many phone call I made, very stressful, finally show up Yesterday, what a relief.

This post is for a similar example that you can view at the Passau Museum, Michelle has posted one in the same decor some time ago, same Opalescent ground with Blue trailing and spot with a very Art Nouveau brass decoration, very delicate & Lovely, depicting Tulip Cluster, when you look closer the brass decoration is very nicely executed with amazing detail on the rim that surrounded the vessel body.
This piece have quite a presence in the showcase.

The vase stand at 10 inches by 4 inches wide.
    Many thanks for looking.

      Alan, a couple of questions:
      Is it UV reactive ?
Does it have a pontil ?

P.S. There is a similar piece in the Passau Museum in cabinet 28 of the Heckert room that previously resided in cabinet 21 of the Kralik room. The contents of cabinet 28 are described as 'Shape designs and experiments by Otto Thamm'. I can email you a close-up photo of the vase in the same decor as yours if you wish.

Alan, have you asked Volkmar Schordt if he agrees this piece is by Fritz Heckert ?
    10. Alan2310 Alan2310, 6 years ago
Volkmar told me, this vase decor is in the Kralik case at the Passau museum.
I mention they as being changing of case and put in the Fritz Heckert one.
I annexed the card picture that you kindly provided to me.
We see what he add to say, he have one vase in the same decor.

      A beautiful piece. Congratulations.
link to my 2 pieces in the same decor (I have listed as Heckert with a note that some sources refer as producer Pallme Koenig or Kralik).

Thanks Alan and larksel. UV reactive is highly unusual for F. Heckert and why I personally believe this decor is more likely to be Pallme-Koenig. A gorgeous piece of glass nonetheless.
    13. Alan2310 Alan2310, 6 years ago
I have more light to add on this matter, this is from opinion of Volkmar.
This vase is not Fritz Heckert a right attribution for now.

Open Quote « you are right with the current attribution in Passau. Image V-28_5827_ shows the vase in the Heckert cabinet (photographed in 2012). These cabinets were curated by Dr. Stefania Zelasko. The same vase was in the Kralik cabinet before (image I-21_UE1_, photo from 2007). That time curated by Dr. Jan Mergl. As there are number of questionable (and wrong to me) attributions by Stefania Zelasko, I am convinced about the Bohemian origin (Heckert was located in Silesia). I cannot tell wether Kralik or not, but not Heckert. Again, my opinion. »Close Quote

I value his opinion on FRITZ HECKERT matter.
For this new information I will not lie, I am bit desapointed but love mystery too.

Ivonne, yes I primary buy it because I love the general look, color, mounted brass decoration, but also because this could FH, disappointed, sure I am.
Many thanks for your visit, comment and appreciation.

Bambus, I think it has produced more UV reactive than we can imagine.

Alan, thanks for the update. If you have access to a copy of 'Das Bohmische Glas' Band IV look on page 226 at vase iv.396. Same opalescent white ground and cobalt blue decor as yours, and it is highly UV reactive. That piece now resides in the Pallme- Koenig room at Passau. That's what nudges me in the direction of attributing your vase to P-K rather than Kralik. But I could be completely wrong...
