I've been a little slow at posting things lately, and thought I would just post some Show and Tell, maybe more Show! :^D I'd like to say that I've been real happy with what I've been finding though, some nice older pieces, and in my next post, some nice newer pieces as well!
The top center Brooch is a Victorian Sash Pin, or Buckle, used to hold a Lady's Sash, hanging at her Waist, or to hold the Sash in place, to cover Her bosom, made popular by Queen Victoria, from the late 1800's-early1900's. This one is Silver Plated, and was probably made in the USA, but it isn't marked.
The Filligree Brooch to the left, is hand made, and seems to be Silver, but I only tested it with a Magnet, no attraction. It may be older than the Sash Pin, but not sure of an age, again unmarked.
My newest find is the Sterling Rice Plant Brooch, it's marked Ming's(Ming's of Honolulu, Hawaii), and the only one that I could find was in a Museum! Hmmm! Other pieces were higher priced Jewelry! :^D
I Liked the little Sailboat Brooch, mid-1940's, Marcasite boat, Enamel Sails, and Flag, on Sterling Germany, later ones like it are marked W. Germany.
The ETS Monogram Brooch has Marcasite, and 6 green Glass Cabochon, with small Glass Beads hanging loose, and linking them, the Hexagon shaped Brooch is very nice, and made in France, I'm not sure of the Metal, I couldn't find a mark, but that doesn't mean it's not there! Might be Silver!
The Horse Head in a Horseshoe Watch Fob, has Blue, and White Enamel, with Black in the Horseshoe, all the Links are hand made, with three longer links, made of two links twisted together around a tight spring, as an interesting design change. It's 1920's or earlier, and unmarked. I could just see this hanging from a vest pocket, and buttonhole, on a Man "betting the Ponies" at the Racetrack! :^D

Thank you for looking, all comments are welcome! :^)
