This is not Gomer Pyle. It is one of my favorite Ultimate Soldier figures. This guy came with a ton of nifty accessories, although he could use a backup firearm. The M1 Garand is a bit large and only holds 8 rounds. Very powerful as it fired the 30.06 and good for hunting elf and moose. Perhaps a cutdown M1 carbine would go well with it.
The kitchen sink of accessories includes, a 60mm mortar round, rifle grenade, bayonet, Ka-Bar knife, Hand grenades, shovel, backpack, souvenir Japanese flag and more. The and more includes a bandolier of ammo for the M1 Garand. A good idea as the standard ammo belt held 64 rounds which was a lot in 1873 but not so much in 1943. Anyway it is fun figure. No disrespect to WWII veterans who probably did not have fun
Nice item. Sounds like he's ready for anything with all that equipment.
Fantastic gear, this guy is fully armed & then some
