Mystery Unsolved!!!
So this isn't really a mystery then is it? Define real. You can buy them at any uniform shop that services the police. Value is only what someone will pay you for them. Not against the law to sell but against the law to carry.
Defining Real to me about these Means,
Is this Actually a Real Badge that An Officer the California Highway Patrol legally carried and OWNED? Same for Pennisyvina State Police MAJOR Legally Carried and Owned?
Typically an officers badge goes with him into retirement. There are many for sale on places like Ebay. It's hard to say if they are real or not. But i wouldn't sell mine for a million dollars. (Well Maybe) Good luck.
Authentic department issue C.H.P. badges are easy to recognize and tell apart from the hundreds or more reproductions. The authentic badge will have a riveted number panel, a side entry catch and will be hallmarked by the maker with the 1/10 14k gold filled or gold front stamp.
Hi Lisa, do you still have the Pennsylvania state police badge? If so , I am very interested in purchasing it. Please email me if you have it rdbrinkley@icloud.com . Thank you!
