This is something I gave away as a gift. Just like everyone else I go around buying random stuff and hope give will like it. I believe he did as he knew what everything was more or less.
As to what is Alemite Zerk it seems to be the fitting the grease comes out of also called a nipple. Alemite bought Zerk and apparently Bassick ends up with it and has a bunch of law suits. These are used on cars from the 1920s and 1930s, this I have learned from the net.
As for the other tools a man of many years told me I must be working on an old Ford. So I shall leave it at that.
Automotive tools as a category perhaps.
I think Alemite Zerk is a character in one of the Star Wars movies. He worked for a pusher named En-Y'ma Sir Ringe. They were a couple of greasy guys.
Thank you very much UncleRon. Probably a pair of fences for all the smugglers.

I remember this type grease gun well. You always remember something that doesn't work right. Zerk is the fitting on the car or equipment that the grease goes into when it is pumped out of the gun. Oskar Zerkowitz invented the fitting and henceforth it was named a Zerk fitting.
Thank you very much fhrjr2. And thank you for doing a better description than I could.
You are welcome, and take my word for this; not all Zerk fittings are created equal. Now days they are using cheap generic ones. I just bought a new John Deere tractor for the lawn and find I have to replace all the Zerk fittings. The ones they used won't release a standard grease gun nipple. Once you plug the nipple on it locks and snaps off the Zerk. They are cheaper because of where they are made but they are also metric and a standard nipple is ASE certified for automotive use. Live and learn.
Thank you again for the additional info fhrjr2.
Thank you
