    Looking for more info on my visee as far as I've been able to find out it's 1880 W. Riley vise i just want to know is to know is it rare or common and is it worth restoration or should I leave it as is any help will be greatly appreciate

      You can sure put the crunch on with that handle !

      With this style of vise it does not have a huge range of clamp down power if u see the blue prints you would understand

      Doesn't look like it needs restoring to me. Contrary to what you see on TV a restoration can lower the value of an item.

      I do restorations I'm a welder fabricator but I did not restore this one someone did at some point but they didn't do a great job and I know restoring can lower value but im not sure if it has any value as it sits that's what I'm trying to find out if its almost worthless as it sits then I'm gonna restore it so I can use it
