A cute pin I recently bought online. I just could not resist it even if the price was relatively expensive.
Marked MET - so it is possible that this piece is gold plated and Polish. In Polish marking system MET means simply metal. Since the Polish hallmarking law of 1920 the word "Metal"(since 1932 it was just "Met", later it became "Metal" again) was used on pieces that combined precious and non precious metals. It was to tell the buyer what to expect.
Come to think of it, the horse looks almost like a unicorn.
